Prism is the only one worth even considering.

None of the weapons have a dmg mod. That completely destroys the item.

Unfortunately for some the divine aura never worked on their accounts despite having the CE, furthermore tech has seemed unable, and disinclined to find an answer to the problem. This is the only problem I've had with tech, in all other matters they have been extremely helpful.

Actually I think the shield isnt that great. The tactics req is high and it's not even max armor. There are better max armor shields out there with a much lower requirement that give you +30 health (and no str req either) plus another mod such as a useful blind reduction mod.

But I guess some people think all that is worth a +2 energy gain.

If you put points in both sword an axe, you actually get +4 energy. Combine it with a HOD sword, and you've got a Warrior with +9 energy. (Then combine that with Gladiator armor....)

On top of that, you can get +30 always (not just when in stance), so the targe is really not a bad item. Not max armor, but still a good shield for the right situation.

Who the heck puts points (at least 8 points to meet the requirement on the targe) in both axe and sword and then some more points in tactics (10 req) and then strength (8 req) just to gain the little benefit from the shield?

That would be one crappy build.

If you're really desperate for energy, you're better off with a focus that provides some armor.

Exactly. Lose out on 15% bonus AND has less than maximum stats. My Ithas bow is only useful because I can have a spare weapon created automatically for any character; If I am in PvP and made a character with two swords (a crippling hilt and a zealous hilt, for example) I can whip out an Ithas bow to ping a distant target without having to use one of my item slots in creation or transferring an item. So, i can build a bit of free adrenaline I gues... that's about it. Only place it shines is on a level 14 ranger in pre-searing, where it's the best bow you'll ever see.

I disagree. But, I play a W/Me and like to mix adrenaline based skills with energy based skills. The extra energy comes in real handy, making the difference between able to constantly cycle a DPS spell on a target versus having to sit back and wait for more energy.

It's really not all that difficult to meet all the reqs - they're only 8.

Since they gave the Taiwanese max damage pre-orders I wish they would retroactively upgrade ours now as well as it no longer seems an issue.

For the reason you listed I never pull out the Warpick.....would be cool if we could to add a little variety to the game.

We have rules about typing like this.

And you can't preorder something from a game that is already out.

Search Ebay, and you might find some unused Preorder CDs keys, thats the only way you'll get one.

the chimeric prism came with the Collectors Edition which was a limited edition pre-order version. there are no more available unless you find one on ebay which will almost certainly be very overpriced
